Positive impact in the making
Our History
The Santa Ana College Foundation was established in 1968, driven by a simple yet powerful belief: no student should be denied access to education due to financial constraints.
Past
Between 1968 and 2000, the Santa Ana College Foundation dedicated over 30 years to empowering students through individual scholarships, enabling them to pursue and complete their educational goals based on merit and financial need.
These impactful scholarships inspired a new vision—one that sought to elevate awareness of student needs and expand philanthropic efforts to accelerate student success.
Where we started
Present
Where we are
For more than two decades, the Santa Ana College Foundation has worked to expand its philanthropic impact across departments, divisions, learning communities, students, and scholarship programs. This effort has grown the Foundation’s assets from $2.9 million to nearly $15 million, with over $1.5 million reinvested into the college and its students, and more than $1 million raised annually.
Thanks to an engaged board and deeply committed stakeholders, the Foundation has built a sustainable future, creating valuable resources that benefit the entire campus community.
Future
Where we are going
With the success of a three-year, $6 million fundraising campaign behind us, the future is brighter than ever. The Santa Ana College Foundation Board of Directors, the President's Cabinet, and the Advancement Office are united in advancing the college's critical goals.
Together, they are leveraging philanthropic support to drive key priorities, including:
Student Success Scholarships
High-Impact Programs
New Academic and Community Spaces for the Arts
Degree and Certificate Completion
Transfer
Workforce Development
Equity
Reducing excess unit accumulation.
